No 531 Verica Celtic Silver Minim Image

This is another tiny coin found by a metal detector user in Hampshire. It was minted by the Attrebates tribe between the years 10-20 AD.

The obverse side shows pellet triads around a central ringed pellet with a ‘tintack’ type border.

The reverse shows a lion pouncing right, VIR above. There is also a triad of pellets below the lion. It is a variant of Van Arsdell 484.

This is a copy of an extremely rare variety of Attrebatic minim
