Aethelred II Gold Mancus made from NuGold dating to 9781016 AD. London mint. NuGold is a very nice gold looking alloy made from Copper and Zinc. This makes reproduction gold coloured coins cheaper because the price of gold plate is going sky-high.
The Obverse Legend reads: "+EDELRED REX+ANL" And shows the King looking to the left.

The Reverse legend reads: "GODRIC MO LVND" which indicates that the coin was minted in London by the Moneyer Godric.
