No 825a North Thames type Gold Stater
Uninscribed (mid to late 1st Century BC), gold Stater, North Thames Group, reversed SS on obverse, rev. horse facing right, various symbols around the horse and very rare. Big chunk out of coin but it is still a very rare coin.
This coin has been reduced in price as it has been sprayed with a special gold paint rather than our usual gold plate as the price of gold plating has rocketed in 2025 and to be honest this gold spray makes this coin look almost exactly as the original.
