No 636: Roman Bull Mount
No 636: Roman Bull Mount: Photographs do not do this piece justice when one considers its age. It is some sort of mount although where it is likely to have been bolted to we are unsure of at the present time. It may have been attached to a bucket or piece of furniture. There are remains of mounting pins at the very bottom and in the centre between the horns.
It is a large piece measuring 2 and three
