This coin is in spectacular condition. It dates to circa 1285-1314. This type was also known as ‘Mouton D’Or’  or ‘Lamb of Gold’, the coin so-named as the reverse shows a sheep. The edge of the coin has been curled by a plough but this slight damage doesn’t detract from the wonderful condition of this rare coin.
